- I am a teacher of learners with multiple special needs in Lawrence, MA. I am also the author of the Teaching Learners with Multiple Special Needs Blog. I am also the sister of a soon to be Sarah Lawrence College graduate who has anoxic brain injury (take that doctors who said she would be a vegtable and therapists who said she would never walk/talk/use her hands) and an eventual step-sister of a fun young guy with Down Syndrome, hearing impairment and early onset Alzheimers. I definately "practice what I preach".
