Hi everyone... I joined two weeks ago and I've watched in anticipation
with how this Assistivtech Ning has evolved. Now up to 115 members and
still counting!
I have been 'dipping my toes' in to a few networking technologies in
the last few months and I am now at the stage of narrowing down to the
types of spaces which will best suit my purposes (and the purposes of
those teachers I will be supporting across the state).

Just checked out your wikis - very nice start. As I was reading your first post, above, I find I totally concur with your comment about trying to narrow down networking technologies and spaces. Right now there are so many, it can absorb hours just exploring, evaluating and choosing. In some ways, though, I think it's not going to be just about technology, but also about who happens to find one another where, and where people with similar interests start to gather. It'll be interesting to see where this all leads...
