- I finished my undergraduate and graduate level education and training at Northwestern University in 1986 and then moved to the Washington, DC area . I started my speech-language pathology practice- Innovative Speech Therapy- about 15 years ago.
Professionally, I spend most of my time training SLPs, OTs and Special Ed teachers how to use technology to improve outcomes; provide intensive short-term therapy and coaching using computers to help people with speech, language, cognitive and learning issues; and publish books and articles to promote the use of technology in the treatment process.

- Hi Joan,
I will be on the east coast only a couple of time this year. The closest will be in April when I will be in NYC. The other trips are NC and FL and that is it for this year.

- Very busy but well for the most part. The weather in WA has been typical (wet) so colds and flu are running rampant. Must keep up my strength as I have a very busy travel schedule heading my way.
