Darlene-I've been trying to get a membership to Accessible Books, but haven't gotten any response. Anyway, could you send me the 3 Meville books to show in a presentation I'm making on AIM?? I'd be SURE and give you full credit! Barbara Locke, U of WY-Institute for Disabilities

Put the mouse over the record, have one student rap their poetry, writing, or the ABC's with a switch, their voice, a device, whatever. The other student can have a switch that clicks the mouse over the record to scratch!

Darlene,
See you soon! Yes, that countdown clock is making me nervous. So much to do to get ready.

Hi Christi,

Yes, we have moved a lot. I am not sure that I enjoy the process of moving but I have enjoyed each area for different reasons and have seen several different approaches in my travels. My husband was working on his Ph.D. so we moved around for his grad work and post doc work. We have been in CT for about 11 years and will probably be here at least until the kids are done with school. I guess that means that rolling stone has landed on a flat side. The publishing piece has been exciting and it happened through encouragment of my professors in my adaptive tech sixth year program and through networking. The collaboration is always very energizing.

Where have you lived before?

Darlene,
I read in your webpage profile that you have taught in a number of states. Was that just because you enjoy moving? or are you married to a rolling stone? I have not moved since I took my first teaching job but that's just 4 years ago. Before that I was the rolling stone. How did you get involved in publishing? That must be so exciting.

WOW. Seeing the countdown clock only reminds me how much I have to do before CTG. Yikes. I better get busy!
