Currently I am working in the Shrewsbury Public Schools as an Assistive Technology Specialist. I work with the special education teams in all the schools preschool through high school.
I have my masters degree in Assistive Special Education Technology from Simmons College. A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Edcuation from Wheelock College. And an Early Chlidhood Education Teacher's Licence for MA.

Last year was my first year as an Assistive Technology Aide for Shrewsbury Public Schools in Massachusetts. As the AT Aide I am responsible for all the special education rooms in the entire district. Yes that is a tall order to fill. I have learned a lot about myself over this past year.

I have added a slide show of some of the low tech equipment that I have adapted over the past two years. The teachers at Simmons certainly inspired me to do some of these.

Hi Deb,
The orginal SWAT team that was created had purchased STAGES. So far I have not done any direct evaluations with the students. I do want to update our version of STAGES to inclued the mathe an report wizard. I belive that when the teams see what it is capiable of they will be more willing to use it.
