I've been working in the field of assistive technology before it had a name! I've been able to work many places, with many amazing children, teens, adults, and so many incredible families. In the course of my work, I've also been fortunate to travel to all the states except Montana, plus many places in Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, and Australia. Excited about sharing on this space!
Hey Caroline Musselwhite, I was aimlessly googling and found this website and joined on whim (despite my nine year disconnection with AAC) and poking around looking for familiar names, found you. What's new? Do you still do work with Patti King? Linda Burkhardt? Goosens. The whole gang. What's the state of the state?
Caroline--A few years ago Intellitools, SWHD, and ADE got together to complete a project attempting to increase teacher expectations of student performance, improve student performance, and increase the amount of hard data collected regarding student performance using Classroom Suite. Was there a summary document created as a result?
Hi Caroline
We now have a couple of distributors signed up and are awaiting decisions elsewhere. First two are STAR for Florida, and AMDi for NY and the north east. Details at the Megabee website
Thought I'd stick my face about a bit. I've got a new device for you in May ... keep guessing ... but you know our rules: no technology for the sake of it. No function creep. Simple isn't stupid - for us its a demanding target, for the user its perfect!
