I work for Don Johnston Inc. and have been with the company for 19 years.
I have been involved with people with disabilities since I was a counselor at a summer camp in high school. I have been a SPED teacher, staff trainer for a statewide agency, job coach and behavior specialist. I first started using AT with group home residents who recently moved into the community from a state DD center in 1987. That was on an Apple II with some basic switch software developed by the TRACE Center.

Hey Bob! Where's your photo? Long time no see. We got provincial funding for 19-27 year olds who use AAC a couple of years ago, and I moved over to that program, and with Jeff Riley from GF Strong, started CAYA, Communication Assistance for Young Adults. www.cayabc.org So I'm back full time in AAC and having a blast! I was at C-SUN last spring but didn't see you... Take care, :-) Lois
G'day Bob
Glad you are onboard this great little venture! It will be great to catch up with you next year! Hope you are still fighting fit and flying the DJ flag. Cheers.
