can anyone tell me what cause/effect programs are being used out there? we have several at our school district; but our IT dept. wants us to pick the top 5 so they can check them against our server?

In my classroom I use the Creature Features/Creature Antics series from Laureate. I also use Intellitools Classroom Suite quite a bit. Once you have the software you can go on the Activity Exchange and download tons of free cause and effect activities for free. Another good program is the Choose and Tell series from Inclusive TLC.
Another free resource I have found is from priory woods (google priory woods and go to their free downloads). I hope this helps.

Priory Woods is a school system in the UK that has developed a variety of videos for cause/effect for various ages and stages of students. You can download them and share as they are free! I also use Hiyah.net You can download PowerPoints that visually rich with photos and animated characters. Usually there is a musical background and sound effects. It is free too.

this is another free site with many cause and effect activities but you do need to have boardmaker software.
